Looking to make a difference:

In March of 2020, like many other individuals, I lost my job, was kept in near isolation by government order, and not being a productive member of society.  Thankfully, in very short time, I was back at the beach coaching kids about open water swimming, paddling, and surfing.  A fuse was lit.  It had been 15 years since I last coached high school water polo and seeing the light come on in every kid started a fire in my belly that has grown and grown over the last few years.

This fire led me to restart coaching in high school, began substitute teaching at Orange Lutheran High School where I was coaching, and eventually led me back to school to become a certificated teaching professional.  I thank you for taking the time to explore my website and learn more about me as an educator, coach and mentor.
